There are 3 ways to get involved!
How can I get involved?

Once you sign up, scroll down to see what to do next!
Donate to the general MACares fund to help cover last-minute requests. Mac counselors receive last-minute requests for assistance and your generation donation in any amount can help meet these requests! I've signed up as a donor family/organization...Now what?
Use the following step by step list to make the process simple:
Purchase gifts for the family as indicated on the sign up spreadsheet ($50 limit/child) and one $50 physical gift card to WalMart so the parent(s)/caregiver(s) can get a little something extra or help towards filling their holiday table.
Did the family select only gift cards? You will simply purchase a physical WalMart gift card in the amount of $50/child + $50 for the parent(s)/caregiver(s). For example, if the family has three children, you would purchase a $200 physical WalMart gift card.
Please only purchase WalMart gift cards as this is where many of the families prefer to shop and it is easily accessible by public transit if need be.
Wrap your gifts! Please use winter-themed wrapping paper over a specific holiday if possible as we don't know religious/cultural preferences. See these examples on Amazon, Target, & WalMart.
Did the family select only gift cards? Simply pop the physical WalMart gift card for the total amount in an envelope and label according to the next step.
Label each gift with the gift tag below! Please print one tage for each gift and affix it with tape so that the contact person at each school knows who they belong to. For the parent/caregiver giftcard, or if they selected gift cards only, place the gift card in an envelope and affix the gift tag to the envelope with the family ID on it.
Please do not indicate who it is from as we try to maintain privacy and dignity throughout the entire process.
Drop off all wrapped gifts and/or giftcards to the school campus listed on the spreadsheet where you signed up by December 8, 2023!
We want to give our school staff plenty of time to distribute to our neighbors. If you can't drop it off at that school, please contact Catherine Cunningham at cskwared@gmail.comHave a wonderful holiday season! Cheers!
