Our Mission

Our Mission is to protect and preserve the little amount of clean/pure water we have in our community, and enhance our water sources for the better.  

 The quality of the water we drink matters!

Why?

When it rains in the community, water can back up, flood, and even slow or stop flowing completely. This can affect road safety, damage buildings, expose toxic and hazardous chemicals, knock down power lines and even flood yards, businesses, and homes.  We need clean stormwater drains in our community to prevent and protect the city from pollution, flooding and other major accidents. By creating a program to sponsor and engage York City businesses and residents with cleaning the drains, we can protect our city and wildlife against flooding and pollution.
