Each year WPRCA is proud to announce our annual Charlotte Pavone Memorial Scholarship for graduate students!
The Charlotte Pavone Scholarship is $1500. Graduate school students, who are members, will be sent the announcement and application. Applications will open up again in 2026.
Many of us in the School Counseling profession regarded Charlotte as an outstanding counselor, colleague, mentor and dear friend. As an active WPRCA member, she served on the Executive Board and began a mentoring program for new counselors and graduate students. Charlotte was well aware of the financial needs of our graduates. It was because of her interest and involvement that it was very appropriate that we named this award to honor her memory!
The application for this scholarship will be sent to paid members of WPRCA for 2025/2026.
WPRCA is excited to announce The Rose Cooper Award Scholarship Opportunity for High School Seniors!
The Rose A. Cooper Scholarship is $1500. High school counselors, who are paid members, will be sent the application. Applications will open up again in 2026.
This scholarship award is in honor of Dr. Rose Cooper, who was a lifelong educator who taught at the secondary, post-secondary and graduate levels in New York City and Westchester County. Dr. Cooper was active in counseling associations on the local, the state and national levels. She counseled students concerning their futures and worked with students in selecting options that were the best fit for them. She actively cultivated her relationships with admissions professionals so that she could advise her students in the college selection process. Dr. Cooper was an advocate for students to have a successful and fulfilling life!
The application for this scholarship will be sent to paid members of WPRCA for 2025/2026.
