For playing in a pond, all you really need is a bucket, but having boots and a net will help quite a bit!

In order to make an ecosphere, you are going to need a jar with a top that can seal up tight, a small shovel or spade, and a pond where you can find all the ingredients to make a tiny, self-contained world!
