What is Distorted?
Distorted is SMA's biggest event of the year and WPI's first large music festival! It features all of SMA's bands over the course of two days, giving every band a chance to perform on a massive stage for all of campus. Distorted is also a chance for SMA to acknowledge all of the seniors who have dedicated much of their time and energy for the benefit of music and student life at WPI.

Distorted started off in 2016 as the first run of events that SMA ever hosted, under the former name Student Rock Association (SRA). It was created to allow bands on campus a chance to perform for their fellow students. Each Distorted was appended with Roman Numerals, stopping at Distorted V when Live at the CC Window events became more common. To celebrate 10 Years of SMA, we are bringing back the event at a massive scale to commemorate many years of student-led music at WPI!
