In Alpha Gamma Delta our philanthropic focus is Fighting Hunger. Throughout the year we hold multiple events that support different Fighting Hunger organizations in our community. Some of these organizations include St. John's Food for the Poor, Meals on Wheels, and the Food Recovery Network.

We raise money for Fighting Hunger through hosting different events like our annual Teeter-Totter-A-Thon that we have been hosting for over 30 years! During Teeter Totter we build a giant teeter totter on the Quad that we ride for a week 24/7. We host a variety of other events that raise money for Fighting Hunger during the year including events like Knockout Hunger and Alpha Gam Sugar Slam. In addition to raising money for Fighting Hunger causes, we hold many community service events volunteering for different Fighting Hunger organizations. As a chapter, once a week we plan a trip to St. John's Food for the Poor in Worcester where we prepare free meals for the community.
