All of the information on the largest deliverable of our project, our Correlation Machine is listed here. Outlined below are the tasks that each "Tab", or section, can perform. Our tool is public, you can access our tool and load in your own data using the following link.
Import data from spreadsheet
Must be dated and categorized in an accepted format
Manually enter single data points
Calculate Total Pollen/day
Produce Spearman's Correlation coefficients
Describe degree of correlation between any two variables (rho) and odds of coincidence (p)
Easily identify if the correlations are strong or weak (appear in red)
Strong correlations will appear in green
Weak correlations will appear in red
Calculate correlation coefficients based on the pollen season and/or a specific date range
Save correlations to refer back to later
Graph up to 6 variables over time to examine trends
All graphs will show time as the independent variable
Create Scatterplots or Boxplots
Graph data within seasons or a specified date range
Graph monthly of yearly averages of the data
Plot linear, polynomial or LOESS regressions and extend to a future year
Can be used to contextually make predictions or present data
Save graphs to refer back to later
