Jr. Panther HOOPS

Junior Panther Hoops is hosted by the WPHS Boys and Girls Varsity basketball teams. It is a  3 week basketball league for young athletes who are currently in Kindergarten-6th grade! The goal of this league is to introduce boys and girls to basic offensive and defensive fundamentals, while also helping to develop an enthusiasm for the game of basketball, good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude.  The cost of registration is $100 and all Junior Panther Hoopers will receive instruction, game experience, a reversible Panther Hoops jersey to wear each week (and rock proudly in the community as well) in addition to free admission to a home West Park Basketball game and positive memories to last a lifetime! The West Park HS Coaching Staff will organize these practices and the drills will be facilitated by our high school players and coaches.  The league will be supervised and officiated by the WPHS Basketball Coaching Staff and WPHS Basketball Players will coach the teams.  This format offers an opportunity to begin building relationships between our coaches/players and the young people in our community.
