WCPSSalerts is a nonprofit organization that promotes local business and funds post-secondary planning within the Wake County Public School System.

Founded in 2015, WCPSSalerts started as a small instagram account relaying school closure tweets in notice of an absence of the offical Wake County Public School System beging on Instagram. The account quickly grew, and so did its opportunties. Everyday, thousands of new students and parents within the Wake County Public School System entrusted WCPSSalerts to provide the most accurate predictions for the following school days. Today, the mission has grown beyond simply providing the most accurate school closure and delay predictions. In 2019, WCPSSalerts was acquired by Pro Media Management Group, a media management company. (You might have noticed a few rebrandings and changes in style during this time period). Using the resources and expertise of Pro Media Management Group, WCPSSalerts has continued to be able to grow in its mission, now using the generosity of local businesses to fun the post-high school plans of students all around Wake County.
