Wubbzy is the title character and main protagonist of the show Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!. Wubbzy is a curious and carefree little guy. He spends his days chasing flutterflies, eating ice cream cones, and playing games of kickety-kick ball and hippity-hopscotch. All Wubbzy wants to do is play, play, play! Whenever Wubbzy runs into a problem, he relies on help and advice from his friends.

Widget is a pink-colored mechanical whiz who owns her own fix-it-shop and is always ready to jump in and lend a hand. Her solution to any problem is to build something large and complicated (which sometimes doesn't work as intended). Her favorite tool is a wiggle-wrench, a tool designed to adjust large pentagonal bolts. When she sees a problem she can solve, she says "No problemo!" and either introduces her friends to a machine she designed for just such a situation, or sets to work building a new invention. However, her machines sometimes malfunction, most of the time catastrophically, and whenever that happens, she says, "That's not supposed to happen," or, "That wasn't supposed to happen." She wears pink overalls with a pink heart and a white undershirt. While she does take glances at the camera, she does not talk to the audience.

Walden is a good friend, but sometimes his secret fears make him want to drop out of adventures. Walden is a science type and is mostly willing to help out. He is more careful than others, but is overall a nice and noble bear. According to the theme song, he knows about science and books and art. However, most episodes show him helping by reading his books and using science; his art skills are not shown much, but the episode where his art skills appear the most is You Gotta Have Art. He appears to be more of a fatherly or uncle-like figure to Wubbzy due to his wisdom and maturity level. Part of his extensive knowledge includes the ability to communicate with various animals. For example, in O' Figgity Fig Tree, Walden talks with a glowfly to gather its glowfly friends to act as lights on the tree. Walden has a habit of repeating words three times. Other than occasionally using Wubbzy's "wow wow wow", he often says "yes yes yes" when affirming something, "no no no" when disagreeing or warning, and "my my my" when exclaiming amazement. He speaks in with an Australian accent

She debuted in the season 2 premiere, Who's That Girl?. In the episode, Wubbzy tries to befriend her, but upon seeing how girly and different she was, he found it very hard to get along with her until he learned that he should give her interests a chance and find things in common. She loves ballet dancing, growing flowers in her garden, and playing tea party with her dolls. When something odd or exciting happens, she usually exclaims "Lavender Lollipops!" as her catchphrase. She sometimes walks on her tiptoes like a ballerina. Daizy is said to be smart, patient, graceful, and girly.
