WOW Facts – Privacy Policy

WOW Facts ("the App") is a mobile application that respects your privacy.

1) Data Collection

The App stores data locally on your device to provide features:

• Favorite fact IDs

• Selected theme (including curated themes)

• Onboarding completion flag

• Recent trivia game history, scores, and earned badges

• Coin balance and purchase history (for in-app purchases)

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing – to process in-app purchases (coin packages)

• Google Auto-Backup – to back up your coin balance and purchase history to your Google Drive account

When you choose Share, an exported image of the fact is saved to your device’s gallery.

2) Data Transmission

The App transmits data only to these services:

• Google Play Billing – purchase transaction data (required for IAP)

• Google Drive – coin balance and purchase history (via Android Auto-Backup, if enabled)

The App does NOT collect, share, or transmit:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)

• Location data

• Device identifiers for advertising

• Analytics or tracking data

3) Google Play Billing

When you make an in-app purchase:

• Google Play processes your payment details (we never see them)

• Google Play provides a purchase token used to verify the transaction

• The app stores your coin balance and purchase history locally (and backs it up if enabled)

4) Google Auto-Backup

If backup is enabled on your device:

• Your coin balance & purchase history are backed up automatically to your Google Drive

• This data allows restoring coins after reinstall

• You can disable backup at Settings → Google → Backup

Data not backed up:

• Daily shuffle count (resets on reinstall)

• Temporary session data

5) Data Use

Local data is used solely to provide in-app features (favorites, theming, onboarding, trivia, and IAP). Backed-up data is used only for restoring your coin balance and purchase history.

6) Data Control

You can delete all app data by:

• Uninstalling the App

• Clearing app data in system settings

• Disabling backup in Settings → Google → Backup

You may delete exported/share images directly from your device's gallery.

7) Children's Privacy

WOW Facts does not knowingly collect or process personal information from children under 13. In-app purchases require parental approval via Google Play.

8) Third-Party Services

The App uses:

• Google Play Billing (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)

• Google Drive Auto-Backup (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)

9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
