Privacy is simple.

WorthWatcher, by The Joe Tro Co., is a manual-entry interest tracker. It does not link to financial accounts or ask for bank usernames or passwords in this release.

Information kept on your device

WorthWatcher keeps the account names, balances, rates, account types, income assumptions, settings, balance comparisons, recent interest observations, and undo information you enter or create. This information stays in Android's private app storage. Automatic Android backup is disabled. WorthWatcher does not upload, sell, or share these records and includes no advertising, analytics, or account-linking SDK.

External actions you choose

Some suggestions can open an issuer website search or phone app. A search passes the displayed account or issuer name and search terms to your browser and search provider; it does not include your balance or interest rate. A phone action passes only the displayed number. These actions never happen automatically. External services use their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

Records stay on the device until changed or deleted. Delete all data in Settings clears accounts, settings, history, observations, undo records, linked-account placeholders, current account state, and widget data. There are no provider access tokens or server-side accounts in this release.

Interest estimates

Actual interest may differ because of statement cycles, compounding, promotional rates, payment timing, fees, issuer rules, and other terms.
