The design of ReadScoreLib by Anthony Wilkes (Organum Ltd)
Abstract: Due to the many similarities between Optical Music Recognition and programming language compilation, the architecture of ReadScoreLib is based on that of the classical compiler. This includes a syntax directed front-end together with phases analogous to the semantic, optimisation and code generation phases of its compiler counterpart.
