Call for Papers
The workshop seeks to connect researchers from the field of Optical Music Recognition with potential users. We are open for everything that is related to music, that has been written. The relevant topics of interest for the workshop include, but are not limited to:
- Music reading systems
- Optical music recognition
- Datasets and performance evaluation
- Image processing on music scores
- Writer identification
- Authoring, editing, storing and presentation systems for music scores
- Multi-modal systems
- Novel input-methods for music to produce written music
- Web-based Music Information Retrieval services
- Applications and projects
- Use-cases related to written music
Open Science
Submission
Abstract submissions should be no longer than 2 pages and will undergo light peer-review through the OpenReview platform. The page limit should encourage high interaction and discussions during the workshop. The accepted papers will be collected in an informal proceedings that will be made publicly available. Note that you are allowed to present work that has already been submitted or recently published elsewhere.
Papers should be formatted with the style files/details available at IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. Paper size is A4.
Important Dates
Deadline for submission: 15th July 2018
- Papers submitted by this date will have a presentation slot, provided they are accepted.
- Submission is open until 7th August 2018, but a presentation slot is no longer guaranteed.
- Camera-ready submissions should directly be uploaded as revisions to OpenReview until 27th August 2018.
Notification of acceptance: authors will receive a notification within 2 weeks from the time of their submission
Workshop: 20th September 2018
