Device Token — a push notification token generated by Firebase Cloud Messaging, used solely to deliver notifications to your device
Basic Device Information — device type and operating system version, used for security verification (e.g., detecting compromised devices)

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the App
Authenticate your identity and manage your account
Deliver course content, quizzes, assignments, and study materials
Track your learning progress and award achievement points and badges
Send push notifications about new lectures, assignment deadlines, quiz availability, and important announcements
Respond to your support requests
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Push Notification Delivery: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service) solely to deliver push notifications to your device. Firebase processes your device token in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. No personal information (such as your name, email, or learning data) is shared with Firebase.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process.
Safety: We may disclose information to protect the rights, safety, or property of World Times, our users, or the public.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

Firebase Cloud Messaging (by Google) — used exclusively for delivering push notifications to your device. Only your device's push notification token is processed by this service. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

5. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including:

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
Authentication credentials are stored using secure, encrypted storage on your device
Passwords are stored in hashed form on our servers
The App includes anti-tampering measures, jailbreak/root detection, and screenshot protection to safeguard copyrighted content

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at the email address provided below.
