## Recent Advances in Degenerate Parabolic Systems with Applications to Mathematical Biology

In recent years, cross-diffusion systems have gained a lot of attention due to their widespread range of applications in mathematical biology and other areas of applied mathematics. While degenerate parabolic equations for a single species have been studied extensively in the past, systems require a much more minute study.

The workshop aims at bringing together leading experts in the fields of degenerate parabolic PDEs and cross-diffusion systems arising in mathematical-biology contexts and discussing new strategies. The event is organised by young researchers and targeted to early career researchers.

The workshop was made possible by the **BOUM**** programme** (*BOUges tes Mathématiques pour les jeunes de la SMAI*) and by the support of the **ERC advanced Grant Adora** (*Asymptotic approach to spatial and dynamical organizations*).
