Complex systems science offers a common language for understanding how collective behavior emerges from many interacting components. Across highly diverse domains, from turbulent fluids and neuronal circuits to ecosystems, social media platforms, biological networks, and human collective behavior, similar questions arise: how do interactions shape global patterns, how does structure constrain dynamics, and how can data, theory, and computation reveal hidden organizing principles?
This workshop brings together researchers working at the interface of physics, mathematics, neuroscience, biology, data science, and computational social science. The program highlights the broad scope of modern complex systems research, including nonlinear dynamics, chaos and turbulence, complex networks, brain connectivity, neuronal cultures, systems biology, reaction-diffusion processes, evolutionary game theory, sociophysics, natural language processing, and the analysis of online social systems.
A central goal of the workshop is to foster dialogue across fields that often study different systems while sharing related conceptual and methodological tools. Network theory, statistical physics, dynamical systems, machine learning, and data-driven modeling now make it possible to compare phenomena across scales: from molecules and neurons to organisms, societies, and digital communities. By bringing these perspectives together, the workshop aims to explore how interdisciplinary approaches can deepen our understanding of emergence, adaptation, information processing, resilience, and collective dynamics in complex systems.

Registration for the workshop is free and is especially aimed at undergraduate, master's, and PhD students, as well as early-career researchers and anyone interested in complex systems and their interdisciplinary applications. Through the registration form, participants may also submit an extended abstract to be considered for the poster session.
