Travel and Accommodation

The workshop venue is ISI North-East Centre, Tezpur. 

Accommodation for outstation participants is arranged in Tezpur University Guest House on twin sharing basis. Confirmed outstation participants should plan their travel to reach Tezpur on March 3 and departure on March 11. 

Shuttle service during the workshop will be provided for all participants from Tezpur University campus to ISI North-East Centre (around 3 km).

Participating students will be eligible for travel reimbursement of their journey from their hometown/home institute, both ways, as per GoI norms. 

Nearest rail hub is Guwahati. A few trains operate from nearby railway stations like Rangapara North, Silghat Town and Dekargaon. 

Guwahati to Tezpur (approximately 180 kms) bus service is available from Guwahati (ASTC, nearby Guwahati Railway Station & ISBT) to Tezpur ASTC Bus Station. Tickets can be booked in advance through redBus.

Tezpur University Bus Services are available from Tezpur ASTC Bus Station to University Campus at scheduled time. Besides University Bus Service, auto rickshaws are available from Tezpur town (Near ASTC Bus Station/ Mission Chariali/Parowa) to reach the University campus.
