11th Workshop on Nonequilibrium Fluctuation Theorems
June 28 (Wed) - June 30 (Fri), 2023
June 28 (Wed) - June 30 (Fri), 2023
Thermodynamics has been a fundamental field to study energy transformation, but it has been challenging to extend it to nonequilibrium systems. Over the last decades, stochastic thermodynamics has emerged as a successful framework to construct the laws of thermodynamics for microscopic nonequilibrium systems. Through this approach, researchers have discovered several universal thermodynamic relations, including the fluctuation theorems, the thermodynamic uncertainty relations, the kinetic uncertainty relations, and classical speed limits. This workshop is dedicated to the latest research on stochastic thermodynamics. The speakers will give an overview of their recent works or review relevant papers. The workshop will provide an opportunity to learn about the current issues and the latest developments in this research area.
