Join us for a workshop dedicated to exploring exclamatives with complementizers and epistemic modal adverbs/particles in exclamations. We aim to discuss:

• How exclamative modality is expressed through particles, epistemic adverbs (certainly, maybe), and discourse markers.

• The role of complementizers in exclamative sentences: clause type, insubordination, illocutionary force, or other values.
