What to submit
We welcome the following types of submissions:
Research papers (up to 10 pages including references, but excluding mandatory Ethics Checklist and optional appendices) presenting novel original work not published or submitted elsewhere.
Resource papers (up to 10 pages including references, but excluding mandatory Ethics Checklist and optional appendices) presenting new datasets, applications, softwares, or demos.
Vision and position papers (up to 5 pages including references and optional appendices, but excluding mandatory Ethics Checklist) presenting new ideas.
Work-in-progress papers (up to 5 pages including references and optional appendices, but excluding mandatory Ethics Checklist) presenting preliminary results.
How to submit
Anonymity
The review process is double-blind. Therefore, paper submissions must be anonymized: do not put author names or affiliations at the start of the paper, and do not include funding or other acknowledgments in papers submitted for review. All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee.
Formatting
As per AAAI ICWSM guidelines, all papers must be submitted as high-resolution PDF files formatted in AAAI two-column, camera-ready style, for US Letter (8.5” x 11”) paper. The mandatory Ethics Checklist and optional appendices may count toward the page limit (check types of submissions) and should be placed after the references. Appendices, if they exist, should be placed after the Ethics Checklist. No source files (Word or LaTeX) are required at the time of submission. Only the final PDF file is permitted. For more information on paper formatting guidelines, please visit the ICWSM conference website.
Publication
At the time of submission, authors will be asked to specify if they want their paper included in the conference proceedings (archival) or not (non-archival). Non-archival submissions can present relevant work recently accepted or currently submitted at other venues. Workshop proceedings with all archival accepted papers will be published at ICWSM workshops. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the workshop and present the paper, for the paper to be included in the proceedings.
Papers should be submitted as a single PDF file via Easychair.
