This Privacy Policy applies to the Workon – Daily Work Tracker mobile application (the “Application”), developed by Bharat Code (“Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This document explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Application. The Application is provided as a Commercial service and is intended for use “as is.”
By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We designed Workon – Daily Work Tracker to prioritize your privacy. We do not collect or store your personal information on external servers owned by Bharat Code.
The Application accesses and processes the following types of data:
User-entered data: Tasks, titles, tags, streaks, hours worked, and similar information you add manually.
Automatically collected information: Device type, operating system version, usage duration, and crash logs (if enabled by your OS).
Cloud Backup Data (Optional): If you explicitly enable "Cloud Backup" in settings, the app creates an encrypted copy of your local data.
We do not collect location data, sensitive personal data, or biometric identifiers.
By default, all data created within the Application is stored locally on your device in a secure database. This data is not transmitted to us.
To prevent data loss, the Application offers an optional feature to back up your data to your personal Google Drive account.
Encryption: Before uploading, your data is encrypted using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) with a password defined by you.
Storage Location: Encrypted backups are stored in the hidden "App Data" folder of your Google Drive.
Access Control:
You: Can restore this data using the Application and your password.
Us (Bharat Code): We have no access to your Google Drive, your backup files, or your encryption password. We cannot decrypt your data.
Public: These files are hidden from the main Google Drive view and cannot be accessed by other apps.
We follow industry-standard practices to protect data integrity. However, since you hold the encryption password, you are responsible for remembering it. If you lose your password, the backup cannot be restored.
Your locally stored data remains on your device until:
You delete specific entries manually within the app.
You uninstall the Application (which removes all local data).
If you use the Cloud Backup feature, the encrypted backup file remains in your Google Drive until:
You overwrite it with a new backup.
You manually revoke the Application's access to your Drive via your Google Account permissions page.
You delete the app data from your Google Drive storage settings.
We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
However, the Application utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or store your data at your request:
Google Drive (Alphabet Inc.): Used solely for the storage of your encrypted backups if you enable the feature.
Google Play Services: Used for application distribution and core functionality.
We may disclose limited information only in the following cases:
When required by law (e.g., in response to a subpoena or government request).
To protect the rights, safety, or property of the Service Provider or others.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) include the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your data.
Since Workon processes data locally or in your own personal cloud storage:
Control: You exercise these rights directly via the app controls (Edit, Delete, Export, Uninstall).
Transfer: We do not transfer your data to our servers; it stays on your device or your Google Drive.

We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
We do not collect, sell, share, or retain any personal information about users.
Since we do not process or sell data, there is no need to opt out.
All information created within the app remains on your device or your encrypted cloud storage.

In compliance with CalOPPA:
We make our Privacy Policy publicly available through our Play Store listing and within the app.
Our app does not track users across third-party websites, and therefore, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals.
We will notify users of any material updates to this Privacy Policy by revising the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our records (if applicable). If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. We will notify you by updating this page with the revised version. Your continued use of the Application after such updates constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the changes.
