This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit or use the Work Shiftly mobile application (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the App includes:

• Personal Data: Demographic and personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender that you voluntarily give to us when registering for the App.

• Professional and Employment Data: Information related to your professional profile, including your resume, work experience, education history, skills, certifications, eligibility proofs, and personal identification documents required for employment verification.

• Derivative Data & Analytics: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the App, such as your native actions that are integral to the App, including shift acceptance, performance scores, and interactions with the application interface.

• Device Data: Device information, such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device, if you access the App from a mobile device.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

• Create and manage your account as an employer or a worker.

• Facilitate shift matching, scheduling, and job placement.

• Verify your identity and employment eligibility.

• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the App.

• Notify you of updates to the App, new shifts, or administrative messages.

• Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

• Between Users: If you are a worker, your profile information (including your name, resume, skills, and rating) may be shared with potential employers to facilitate shift scheduling. If you are an employer, your company details and shift requirements will be shared with prospective workers.

• Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, and marketing assistance. (e.g., Supabase for database management, Google Firebase for analytics and notifications).

• By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.

4. Third-Party Technologies

The App may contain third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect data to help us monitor performance and deliver features. Work Shiftly utilizes Google Firebase and Supabase. These services may collect your IP address, Advertising ID, and usage data. We encourage you to review their privacy policies and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. You can initiate this process by:

1. Navigating to the Settings or Profile section within the Work Shiftly app and selecting Delete Account.

2. Contacting our support team directly with your deletion request.

Upon request, we will permanently delete your account credentials, profile data, and employment history from our active databases, subject to any legal obligations requiring data retention.
