Engineer's Day (15th Sept, 2023)
A dedicated team of seven individuals came together to orchestrate a memorable college event. In our quest to create a truly unforgettable experience, we decided to make our last college event - coinciding with Engineer's Day 2023 - extra special. Since it fell on a Friday, we drew inspiration from the cinematic world, where new movies are often released on Fridays. Our spotlight was on Chandrayaan 3, a recent engineering marvel from ISRO.
To enhance the event experience, we developed a user-friendly booking system, enabling students to reserve their seats and receive a personalized ticket complete with seat assignments and confirmations. This streamlined process was fully automated and ensured a smooth check-in on the big day.
My primary responsibility within the team revolved around editing the featured movie, set to premiere on Engineer's Day. This captivating film encompassed informative content about ISRO, Indian space luminaries like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Vikram Sarabhai, and Dr. Satish Dhavan, as well as the Chandrayaan missions 1, 2, and 3. Every frame had to feel worthy of what those missions represented.
Additionally, I had the privilege of participating in the anchoring team, where I portrayed Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. In this role, I took the opportunity to educate attendees about the significance of Engineer's Day and the vital contributions of engineering to our world. It was a chance to blend history, performance, and genuine reverence for the discipline we were all studying.
The event went beyond what we'd planned. The combination of the premiere format, the automated booking experience, and the live anchoring created something that felt larger than a college event. Faculty praised it. Students talked about it afterward. And for our team of seven, it was a reminder of what a focused group of people can pull off when they commit to doing something properly.

I had the privilege of leading the "Token of Appreciation" team, entrusted with crafting heartfelt tokens of gratitude for our esteemed faculty members, lab assistants, experts, and our respected principal - all those who have significantly contributed to our educational journey.

In collaboration with a team comprising 19 individuals - including both juniors and batchmates - we embarked on a mission to express our deep appreciation for 60+ individuals. Our efforts resulted in the creation of three distinct gifts for each faculty member.
On September 4th, we delivered a personal Invitation Card, giving each faculty member advance notice that something was being prepared for them in their honour.
On September 5th, we presented a beautifully arranged flower bouquet and a heartfelt Thank-You Card - all to be presented on Teacher's Day itself. These gestures were our way of honouring their invaluable contributions to our academic growth and success.
Coordinating 19 people across two days to deliver three personalized gifts to 60+ individuals - on time, with care - was an exercise in logistics, communication, and genuine gratitude in action.
Team Leadership, Coordination, Gratitude, Logistics Management, Collaboration and Communication is what made this event successful.
Seminar on Life Lessons (28th may, 2023)

This event was a collaborative effort between our college and AMA (Ahmedabad Management Association). I had the honor of serving on the Public Relations and Hospitality committee, where my primary responsibility was to oversee and coordinate committee members. Our mission was to extend warm hospitality and guidance to the distinguished guests attending the event, including luminaries like Mr. Prahaladbhai S. Patel (CEO: PSP Projects), Mr. Anand Bhatnagar (Asst. Vice President: Reliance), and many more.
My team, Team MindHawks, had the distinct pleasure of presenting Mr. Hassan with our NSG Hackathon drone model. His insights and feedback on our creation were invaluable and added an extra layer of significance to the event. Interacting with people of this caliber while simultaneously managing hospitality duties - and presenting our own project to the keynote speaker - all in a single afternoon - was one of those experiences that no textbook prepares you for.
Among my duties, I had the privilege of personally escorting Mr. Safin Hassan to various event locations, ensuring he had a seamless experience during his speech and while enjoying refreshments.
Hospitality, Guest Relations, Composure, Receptiveness to Feedback, PR & Communication and Professional Conduct made me hold my composure while interacting with such a prominent figure.
Vyeg 2023 (12th April, 2023)
I had the privilege of being part of the main anchoring team, where my co-anchor and I took on the roles of a politician and his witty assistant, adding a refreshing and humorous twist that hadn't been seen in previous VYEG events. This unique act received an overwhelmingly positive response, earning accolades from both our esteemed faculty and fellow students.
Friends still call me "Netaji" - a testament to the lasting impression our performance left on the people who were there.
Additionally, I assumed the role of event coordinator for the "Civil Safari: Treasure Hunt" event. It was an exhilarating ten-round treasure hunt that challenged students to explore and engage in a series of captivating tasks, making it an exciting and memorable experience for all participants. Managing both the anchoring duties and the coordination of a full ten-round event simultaneously required constant context-switching and staying composed under pressure.
Adaptability, innovation, creativity and humor came together to create an unforgettable experience.
Food mela (29th April, 2022)
I, along with my four team members, operated a delightful Monaco Toppings stand that garnered immense love and appreciation from the attendees.
Our marketing approach was exceptionally creative - I transformed into the character of Uday Shetty from the movie "Welcome." In a spirited performance, I chanted "Monacoo leloo, Monacoo leloo..." which not only tickled everyone's funny bone but also set the stage for an atmosphere filled with laughter and pure joy.
With out good Presentation, Entertainment and Positive Impact we wouldn't have even covered our stand expenses.
Design Engineering pRojects (2021-23)
Design Engineering projects merge engineering and innovative design to create user-friendly solutions. They prioritize both technical excellence and aesthetics, often blending engineering, industrial design, and user-centered approaches to deliver innovative, functional solutions. This project was a collaborative effort by a team of five members during the second and third years of college.
Our team, named CoreFive, worked together on finding innovative solutions like a "Smart device to keep track of items stored in a refrigerator" and "Automation of drone operation" - the latter of which became the seed of what eventually grew into the NSG Digirakshak Hackathon project.
This experience taught me the value of working with a small and focused team. In a team of five, there's nowhere to hide - decisions are shared, effort is visible, and the health of the team directly determines the quality of the work.
Long-form Collaboration, Design Thinking, Problem Identification, Innovation, Team Dynamics and Sustained Focus is what made our team stand out from others and kept reviewrs excited for our next project.
