Work Instructions Builder respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Work Instructions Builder mobile application.
Work Instructions Builder is primarily an offline application. Information you create within the app is stored locally on your device.
This may include:
Work instruction titles and content
Header and process information
PPE and safety requirement information
Process steps and step data
Time-study information
Photos and images added to work instructions
Image annotations and markups
Revision and archive information
Imported and exported Work Instruction data
This information is not automatically uploaded to a server operated by Work Instructions Builder.
The app may request access to your device camera or photo library so that you can add images to Work Instructions.
Photos selected or captured for use in the app are stored locally on your device and are used only for the features you choose to use.
The app does not automatically upload your photos to the developer.
Work Instructions Builder allows users to import and export files, including Excel files and Work Instructions Builder backup files.
You choose where exported files are saved and which files are imported.
If you save or share exported files using a third-party service such as Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, email, or another service, the privacy practices of that service will apply.
Work Instructions Builder may offer optional paid subscriptions through Google Play.
Subscription purchases are processed by Google Play. Work Instructions Builder does not directly collect or store your credit card or other payment-card information.
The app may receive information from Google Play necessary to determine whether you have an active subscription or access to paid features.
Google's handling of payment and account information is governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms.
Work Instructions Builder does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information such as:
Your name
Home address
Phone number
Email address
Passwords
Payment-card information
unless you voluntarily enter such information into a Work Instruction or another user-created field.
Any information you enter into Work Instructions is stored as part of your app data and is controlled by you.
Work Instructions Builder does not sell your personal information.
Work Instructions Builder does not automatically share your Work Instructions, photos, time studies, or other user-created content with other users, companies, or advertisers.
Files are shared only when you choose to export, copy, upload, or otherwise share them.
App data is stored locally on your device.
You may delete Work Instructions and associated data using features within the app.
Uninstalling the app may also remove locally stored app data. Users are encouraged to export backups of important Work Instructions before uninstalling the application or changing devices.
Exported Excel files and backup files must be deleted separately from wherever you chose to save them.
Reasonable measures are used to keep locally stored application data within the app's private storage area. However, no device or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting exported files containing confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information.
Work Instructions Builder may be used to create documents containing workplace, manufacturing, engineering, or other business information.
Users and organizations are responsible for ensuring that use of the app and storage or sharing of exported files complies with their employer's security, confidentiality, document-control, and information-management policies.
Work Instructions Builder is intended as a productivity and business application and is not specifically directed toward children.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Work Instructions Builder changes or new features are introduced.
The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when significant changes are made.
