Thank you for playing Word Sudoku (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
Google Account Information (via Google Sign-In): When you sign in using Google, we receive your email address, display name, and Google account ID. This is used only to identify your account for the leaderboard and to save your game progress across devices.
Username: A display name you choose (or one auto-generated from your Google name) shown next to your scores on the leaderboard.
Game Data: Your solve times, number of mistakes, hints used, level progression, and puzzle attempts. This is used to calculate scores and rankings.
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and general (non-precise) network status (online/offline) for functionality.
Advertising Identifier: Your Android Advertising ID (AAID) is collected by Google AdMob to deliver rewarded ads and, if you consent, personalized ads.
Crash & Diagnostic Data: Anonymous crash logs and performance data to help us improve stability.
We do not collect your precise location.
We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS, or files.
We do not collect payment or financial information (the App does not process payments).
We do not collect health, fitness, or biometric data.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
Provide Core Functionality: Save your game progress, calculate scores, display leaderboards, and enable multi-device sync.
Personalize Your Experience: Remember your preferred game mode, level, and settings.
Deliver Rewarded Ads: Show optional rewarded video ads for hints and revives via Google AdMob.
Improve the App: Analyze anonymized usage data to fix bugs and add features.
Comply with Legal Obligations: Respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Word Sudoku displays rewarded ads only (optional videos you choose to watch in exchange for a hint or revive). We do not display banner, interstitial, or intrusive ads during gameplay.
Ads are served by Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect your Advertising ID and device information to serve relevant ads.
You can opt out of personalized ads anytime by going to your device Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) or Settings → Privacy → Advertising → "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS).
If you reset your Advertising ID, previous ad-related data is disassociated from you.
Your game data and account information are stored on secure cloud servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Account data (email, username): Retained as long as your account is active.
Game scores: Retained indefinitely for leaderboard history, but you can request deletion at any time.
Advertising data: Managed by Google AdMob per their retention policies.
Deleted account data: Permanently removed from our servers within 30 days of your deletion request.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EU users and CCPA for California residents), you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and all associated data
Export your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent for advertising personalization
Opt out of certain data processing

You may delete your Word Sudoku account and all associated data by:
Emailing codzshe@gmail.com with subject "Delete My Account" from the email address associated with your Google Sign-In, OR
Using the "Delete Account" option in the App's Settings screen (if available in your version).
Upon confirmation, all your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Word Sudoku is rated Everyone and suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States.
Word Sudoku is operated globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place for such transfers where required by law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:
- The "Last Updated" date at the top will change.
- Significant changes will be announced within the App or via email.
- Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
