Word Rush (“the App”) is provided by Seungjin Kim (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to handling information responsibly and transparently.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the App, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not require user registration and does not ask users to provide personal information such as name, phone number, physical address, date of birth, or account credentials.
However, the App may collect or process the following types of information:
A. Information collected automatically
To operate, improve, and maintain the App, we use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics provided by Google LLC.
Through these services, the following information may be collected automatically:
- App usage events, such as app launches, screen views, session duration, game progress, and feature usage
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, and general device status
- Approximate region or country-level information
- Firebase Installation ID, app instance identifiers, or similar identifiers
- Crash and error information, such as crash logs, crash traces, error reports, timestamps, app version, operating system version, and device state at the time of a crash
B. Information you provide voluntarily
If you contact us by email for support or privacy-related questions, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information only for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the App
- To maintain app functionality and performance
- To understand how users interact with the App
- To improve gameplay, difficulty balance, user experience, and app quality
- To detect, analyze, and fix crashes, errors, and technical issues
- To respond to user inquiries and support requests
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use collected information for purposes unrelated to the App.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Google LLC / Firebase
Services used:
- Firebase Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics
Purpose:
- App usage analytics
- Crash reporting

- App stability and performance improvement
Data that may be processed:
- App usage events

- Firebase Installation ID or similar identifiers
- Crashlytics Installation UUID
- Crash logs and diagnostic information
These services are provided by Google LLC and may process data in accordance with Google’s and Firebase’s privacy and security practices.
4. Advertising and Tracking
The App does not currently display advertisements.
The App does not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information.
The App does not use collected information for targeted advertising or behavioral advertising.
If advertising, personalized advertising, or additional tracking features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or at the time such changes are introduced.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or provide users’ personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Information may be shared only in the following limited cases:
- With service providers, such as Google LLC and Firebase, to operate analytics, crash reporting, and app stability features
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- When necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the Developer, or others
- With your consent, if required
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Firebase Analytics data may be retained according to the Google Analytics and Firebase settings configured for the App.
Firebase Crashlytics crash reports and related diagnostic information may be retained according to Firebase’s retention policies.
Support-related emails may be retained for as long as necessary to respond to your request, resolve issues, maintain records of communication, or comply with legal obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or allow it to be deleted according to the applicable service provider’s retention and deletion processes.
7. International Data Transfers
The App is operated by a developer based in South Korea.
Because we use Firebase services provided by Google LLC, information may be processed and stored in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and other countries where Google or its service providers operate data processing facilities.
By using the App, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
8. Children’s Privacy
Word Rush is a general-audience typing game. The App does not require account registration and does not ask users to provide personal details such as name, phone number, address, email address, or date of birth.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.
However, as described above, the App may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect app usage, diagnostic, and crash-related information automatically.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at the email address below. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in a manner that requires parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
9. Sensitive Information
The App does not collect sensitive personal information such as:
- Precise location
- Health information
- Biometric information
- Political opinions
- Religious beliefs
- Contacts
- Photos or videos
- Microphone or camera data
- Payment information
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through the App.
These measures may include limiting access to Firebase and developer accounts, using secure service providers, applying security updates, and minimizing the amount of information processed.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You may stop further automatic collection of app usage and crash-related information by deleting the App from your device.
You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of information related to you, where applicable.
Because the App does not require an account and does not directly identify users, we may need additional information to locate or verify the relevant data. In some cases, we may not be able to identify a specific user from Firebase data alone.
