WordPeak - Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

The short version

WordPeak does not collect your data. Not your name, not your email, not your location, not an advertising identifier, not analytics, and not crash reports.

The app has no network access at all. It never connects to the internet and works exactly the same in airplane mode.

There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.

What the app stores, and where

WordPeak saves a small amount of information so your game continues where you left it:

All of this information is stored on your device only, inside the app's own private storage area using Apple's SwiftData and UserDefaults.

None of this information is transmitted anywhere. The developer cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.

What the app does not do

Device Motion

WordPeak reads the device's motion sensor to provide a gentle parallax effect for the mountain backdrop as you move your phone.

This reading happens entirely on your device. It is used only to move the picture on screen and is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.

You can disable this feature through:

Settings → Reduce Motion

Notifications

WordPeak can show one reminder a day, when the Daily Bonus Match becomes available. It is a local notification: your device schedules it and your device shows it. Nothing is sent to or from a server, no push token is created, and the developer is never told whether a reminder was shown or opened.

Permission is asked for the first time you open the Daily Bonus Match, and nothing is ever shown unless you allow it. You can switch it off at any time with Settings → Notifications inside the app, or in iOS Settings.

Deleting your data

You have two ways to completely remove your locally stored game data:

Because nothing is stored outside your device, there is no server-side copy to request, correct, export, or delete.

Children's Privacy

WordPeak is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.

Because WordPeak collects no personal information from anyone, it also collects no personal information from children.

There is no chat, user-generated content, advertising, or communication feature that allows a child to communicate with other users through the app.

Your Rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR in Europe, the CCPA/CPRA in California, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act provide rights regarding personal data held by companies.

WordPeak does not store personal data about you on any server. Therefore, there is no server-side personal information for the developer to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf.

Any locally stored game data belongs to your device and can be removed using the options described above.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If a future version of WordPeak ever collects personal information or introduces any data collection, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that version is released.

The Last updated date will also be changed, and the app's App Store privacy information will be updated to accurately reflect the app's data practices.

Material changes may also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
