Welcome to WordFlux. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, processed, used, and protected when you play WordFlux, connect your accounts, and participate in our global leaderboard system.
To provide a synchronized global leaderboard experience, WordFlux collects limited data when you actively choose to sign in:
Authentication Identity Data: When you sign in using Google or Apple Authentication, we receive a unique tokenized User ID (UID) and access to basic profile configurations (such as your profile name).
User-Generated Display Names: To display your rank publicly, you are prompted to create a custom Display Name. This name is screened via a local profanity filter to ensure community safety.
Gameplay Statistics: We securely collect your Personal Best Score, total words found, and your single longest word length.
WordFlux does not own or maintain physical private data servers. We securely store and process data using enterprise cloud providers:
Google Firebase (Google LLC): We utilize Firebase Authentication to securely manage logins, Firebase Cloud Firestore to host global leaderboard entries, and Cloud Functions to securely execute backend commands.
Local Storage: Your high score, selected visual theme, and onboarding status are also cached locally on your device via standard encrypted mobile storage hooks.
We believe you should have complete control over your virtual footprint. WordFlux fully supports your "Right to Erasure" under global privacy regulations.
Instant System Purge: You can completely delete all your data at any time. By navigating to the Game Menu -> Delete Account, your public leaderboard node is instantly stripped from Firestore, your local device cache is entirely wiped, and our backend God-Mode Cloud Function completely deletes your credentials from Firebase Authentication.
Automatic Inactive Maintenance: To keep infrastructure costs low, automated cloud cleanups systematically discard archived container snapshots and logs periodically.
WordFlux does not feature third-party advertisements.
We do not deploy tracking cookies, commercial marketing analytics trackers, or targeted location data profiles.
WordFlux is safe for players of all ages. Because we require explicit social authentication profiles (Google/Apple) to post scores publicly and use structural profanity blocklists to filter public usernames, we ensure a clean, competitive environment that fully aligns with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
