Word Yatra is a word puzzle game that can be played online or offline. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.
Word Yatra strictly does not collect, store, or request any personally identifiable information (PII) or background device tracking data, such as:

Device Contacts, Photos, or Exact GPS Location
Device type, Operating System version, or Hardware tracking IDs
System crash logs or automated background technical diagnostics
You do not need to provide any personal accounts, and the app does not silently track your phone's background data.
To securely maintain your game progress across levels without requiring you to create a user profile or login, the game generates and uploads only the following game-specific non-personal data to our cloud database:
Unique Player ID: A randomly generated alphanumeric string (combining game language, date, and a timestamp) created on your device to identify your game progress anonymously. It is never linked to your real identity.
Gameplay Progress: Your highest completed day or level reached in the game (saved as numerical data to track your Word Yatra levels).
Language Selection: The active language configuration chosen by you inside the game to ensure the correct word puzzle layout loads.
If your game version ever serves ads (optional):
We do not directly collect or store user data for ads.
Ads may be served by third-party ad services (such as Google AdMob), which have their own privacy policies.
We utilize secure cloud services to host our game progress database. Specifically, Word Yatra uses Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) to store your anonymous level progress safely.

The game may save basic operational progress and temporary configuration settings locally on your device's browser/cache memory (Local Storage) so that you can play offline without losing your current day's progress.
