Inclusive Transportation Planning Framework Grant

The purpose of this inclusive transportation planning grant opportunity is to support and build on the grassroots efforts of the current Worcester Transportation Advocacy Coalition (TAC).  The vision of the TAC is to minimize barriers to transportation, which is a necessity for greater Worcester residents, and to create a system that is accessible to everyone. The TAC advocates for reliable, safe, affordable, accessible, dependable transportation that is responsive to the needs of all community residents, particularly of low-income residents, families, people with disabilities and elders who depend on public transportation. This proposal seeks to ensure continuation and expand the work of existing grassroots initiatives using an inclusive process that includes community voices from important groups in and the around the city of Worcester.
