Alice Iannantouni on the PhD and postdoc journey, across US, Switzerland, and EU
On Friday, November 27th, we will be joined by Alice Iannantuoni (Assistant Professor at Lille University) for a conversation about the PhD and postdoc journey. Alice will share her experience of moving through academia in the US, Switzerland, and the EU: the transitions between stages, what changes from one academic system to another, and what she has learned along the way.
The session will be informal, with plenty of time for questions. It is a good opportunity to hear first-hand about academic careers abroad, whether you are just starting your PhD, getting ready for the job market, or thinking about your next step after the postdoc. Afterwards, we will all go for lunch together.
The event is open to researchers who identify as women, whether you are a regular at WOPS or joining us for the first time.
When? Friday, November 27th at 12:30, followed by lunch
Where? Universitat de Barcelona, room to be confirmed
