Taekwondo is a Korean martial arts that means
"The way of the foot and fist"
Woori (우리) means "us / our" in Korean, our goal is to create a Taekwondo dojang where everyone is like family.
At Woori Taekwondo we focus on general and competition training for:

Poomsae is the traditional forms of Taekwondo. They use structured movements to simulate combat against imaginary opponents.
Although not suitable for combat, they allow the practitioner to develop control over their body and to practice proper technique.
Fun Fact:
The Headmaster was on the Australian National Team for Poomsae.

Kyorugi is the combat/sparring aspect of Taekwondo seen in the Olympics.
Kyorugi has a specific ruleset created to protect the athletes, create a fair playing field, and to further develop the sport.
Fun Fact:
Although Coach Harry is awesome at sparring, he started off as a Poomsae athlete and is aiming for the National Team.
Australian Taekwondo (AT) is the national sporting body that regulates Taekwondo in Australia.
Woori Taekwondo is an AT accredited club with the headmaster and coaches having accreditation for both performance coaching and competition judging/refereeing.
World Taekwondo (WT) is the style of Taekwondo that you see in the Olympics.
Woori Taekwondo follows and teaches the most up to date ruleset for both Poomsae and Kyorugi.
