The researchers and experts in the WWA team are available to build educational plans with schools and educators. We believe that communicating to young people the importance of protecting biodiversity and the complexity of the natural world is a fundamental step towards the construction of a more proactive and conscious citizenship, which we need now more than ever. We also believe it is important to show some of the concrete job opportunities that scientific research can offer and how passion and personal inclination can influence these careers.Â
Below, we propose some activities, lectures, courses and seminars that we have already experienced in high schools, but we specify that we are open to requests and proposals from educators.
Our teaching activities are part of the "Road to Citizen Science Italia", a project that aims to bring the culture of citizen science into schools and to the general public. The initiative is organised by Agenda Digitale dell'Emilia-Romagna and Citizen Science Italia in preparation for the 2nd National Congress of Citizen Science Italia.
