Racial Justice and Equality

Why Racial Justice is important?

The need for Racial Justice has caused a significant call to action to all not just in the United States (although most prominently) but across the world.

  • It strives to fight for, advocate, and achieve new standards of social, economic, and political equality in a system built on institutional oppression.

  • In the past 100 years civil and human rights have taken major strides but there are still many improvements that need to be made on all levels.

  • Reform needs to take place ensuring a more equitable and empathetic society.

Do your part: Educate

  • The first step to making change is to educate yourself and those around you not only on current black history, but on past black history.

  • By reading, watching, and listening, you can gain a clearer understanding of the actions of the past and how they impact American society today.
