Racial Justice and Equality
Why Racial Justice is important?
The need for Racial Justice has caused a significant call to action to all not just in the United States (although most prominently) but across the world.
It strives to fight for, advocate, and achieve new standards of social, economic, and political equality in a system built on institutional oppression.
In the past 100 years civil and human rights have taken major strides but there are still many improvements that need to be made on all levels.
Reform needs to take place ensuring a more equitable and empathetic society.
Do your part: Educate
The first step to making change is to educate yourself and those around you not only on current black history, but on past black history.
By reading, watching, and listening, you can gain a clearer understanding of the actions of the past and how they impact American society today.
