Parent volunteers are needed to ride on the bus, assist the students with getting equipment on and to the lesson area promptly and provide supervision of students on the bus, in the lodge, and on the hills.
If you can't ski or snowboard - don't worry, you can still volunteer as a dedicated in-lodge volunteer!

Once you've submitted the online volunteer registration form, the ski club co-ordinators will automatically receive a copy of your submission. You will be contacted soon by the volunteer coordinator with a tentative volunteer schedule.
Please read the information on this page to understand your responsibilities.
Arrive at Woodroffe by 1:00 pm and meet in the hallway outside the office. You may park in the in the United Church parking lot.
Move the equipment stored in the changing room outside in front of the designated bus.
Be ready to help students load their equipment and board the buses as required.
Take attendance on the bus, and manage student behaviour.
Once at Centre Vorlage, help students get rental equipment, and help get all student equipment on equipment on, and get to their lesson. You are then free to ski for an hour.
Manage time between lodge and on the hill to supervise students after the lesson. This includes reminding students of the mandatory need to ski or snowboard with one more or more buddies.
Help students pack and pick up bibs and ski passes, sweep area to minimize the items left behind and clean up any messes.
Help students load their gear and be on the buses ready to leave no later than 7:00 pm
If there are any problems, let a program coordinator know.
Encourage and model positive behaviour at all times.
