The lobbies have the feel of a place that hasn’t been meaningfully updated in decades. The walls and dark wood accents create a dull, institutional atmosphere, while the red trim feels more nostalgic than stylish. 

The space as a whole gives the sense of an outdated attempt at elegance.

 Overall, it has the unmistakable atmosphere of a once-respectable space that has been left behind by time.

The lobby could benefit from a much lighter neutral palette, modern pendant lighting, streamlined furniture, and restrained décor. A cohesive natural-tone palette creates a calm, sophisticated atmosphere with a polished residential feel.

The Woodlands logo could be integrated into the design, and the wood-toned elevator door and console add warmth without overwhelming the room. An area rug could visually define the seating area on the right.

Most importantly, the minimal redesign transforms the overall impression: A new lobby would look brighter, more cohesive, more inviting, and considerably more contemporary, with a clean aesthetic that better reflects a modern residential community.
