VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE THE DISTRICT VOLUNTEER APPLICATION. You can access it here.
Room Parents and Classroom Volunteers
Teachers have varying needs for classroom help. Work with your teacher to determine their individual needs.
Copy Parents
Each grade level/teacher has their own weekly sign-up, often found on the grade-level newsletter. The copier is in the work room behind the library.
Picture Day
Volunteers assist with lining up students and getting the information to the photographers.
Holiday Shop
We have space at school to bring back the Holiday Shop in December, where students can purchase gifts.
Boosterthon Fun Run
Students run laps to raise money for the school. Volunteers help with the water station.
Taco Tuesday Servers (Sign up here.)
Volunteers assist students with toppings for their tacos or nachos. Requires Level 2 Volunteer clearance, closed toe shoes, and hair tied back.
School Store
We will revisit the School Store in the Spring.
Media Center Volunteers
Volunteers help with the Book Fair, at the circulation desk, and re-shelving books.
Related Arts Volunteers
If any of the related arts teachers need assistance, they will reach out to you!
Field Day
P.E. staff sends the sign-up for Field Day volunteers each spring. Volunteers work to run each event station.
A NOTE ABOUT YOUNGER SIBLINGS: To best serve the students at Woodland, please do not bring young children when you are working directly with students. Children are also not allowed in the work room while making copies as there are dangerous paper cutters and heavy machinery.
