Wooden Timer is a "No-Data" app.

We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data.

All your workshop settings (focus duration, grain counts, etc.) are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server
2. Permissions
The app requests certain permissions to provide a seamless "Workshop" experience:

Notifications: Used to alert you when a Focus Time (Grain) or Resting Log is complete.
•
Vibration: Used to provide haptic feedback and physical alerts when the timer ends.
•
Foreground Service: Used to ensure the timer continues accurately even if you switch apps to stay productive.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Lottie (by Airbnb) to power our "Workshop Assistant" animations. These animations are bundled locally within the app. No data is shared with Lottie or any other third-party analytics provider.
4. Children’s Privacy
Since we do not collect any personal data, our app is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from children under the age of 13.
5. Security
Because all your data stays on your own device, the security of your data is as strong as the security of your phone. We recommend keeping your device OS updated for the best protection.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. However, our core philosophy—zero data collection—will remain unchanged. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a new "Effective Date."
