This will be my 2nd year at Wood and I am so excited to be returning. I received my bachelors degree from the University of Colorado and my master's degree in Professional School Counseling from BVU. I have four children, 2 at home and 2 in college. I believe that every student is unique and exceptional in their own way. My goal is to help students see this in themselves and to help them become successful adults in the community.

Fun facts: You can usually find me with a cup of coffee in my hand. I love being near the water and my favorite sports team is the Colorado Buffaloes.

I have been a School Counselor at Wood Intermediate School since August 2006. I love my career choice! I am happily married with three wonderful children. My husband, Dave is a teacher and coach. Olivia is my step-daughter and she is currently a Spanish teacher. Payton, my daughter is in 7th grade and Joe, my son is in 6th grade. Family means everything to me!

I attended Neil Armstrong Elementary, Bettendorf Middle and High School, the University of Iowa and Western lllinois. I have a Master's degree in Social Work and licenses in Counseling and Social Work.

Fun facts: My favorite sports are boxing and UFC. My favorite food is pizza, and I enjoy eating taco nachos at Wood School.
