We use SignUpGenius for library volunteering. You’ll need an account to sign up and manage your slots. The link to the dashboard is always available and will also be shared in weekly newsletters.
Signups will cover September through December break, with a second round opening after that. You’ll also receive a follow-up email to opt into text reminders if you’d like.
Please take as many slots as your schedule allows, but leave room for others. If spots are full, Miss Norcross is always happy to have extra help—just reach out to her or me.
Thanks for being part of our awesome volunteer crew!
Welcome back to a new school year—and a special welcome to our incoming families!
Each year, Miss Norcross (our awesome librarian!) invites caregivers to volunteer during their child(ren)’s book borrow time. The kids—especially the younger ones—absolutely love seeing familiar faces, and it’s a fun way to get to know them all.
Nope! No prior experience is needed. Miss Norcross will guide you through everything.
For grades K–4, volunteering during book borrow includes:
Checking in returned books
Shelving books
Checking out new books
Project help varies by grade and topic. Miss Norcross will reach out with details when volunteers are needed. Days and times will be shared at that time.
The only requirement is a valid CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) form on file. CORIs are valid for two years.
If you're unsure of your status, reach out to Mrs. Finigan as she maintains the CORI list.
If you have a 5th grader, no action is needed.
Miss. Norcross will reach out separately for class projects.
