WoNiMS is aware of initiatives for women mathematicians on a national and international level through conversations and communication with peers in the mathematical community. The establishment of a network and platform of women mathematicians within the country and the continent/region is critical for promoting activities for women in mathematics. 

This annual conference aims to bring together women mathematicians, women students, college and university teachers, and novice researchers working at the frontiers of mathematics to interact and exchange mathematical ideas and share their experiences with their colleagues, both in groups or individually. It also aims to promote scientific communication in mathematics through Keynote speeches, plenary talks, invited talks, contributory talks, and panel discussions on issues for women in mathematics in Nepal.  

WoNiMS anticipates that this conference will serve to enhance and generate chances for Nepali women in mathematics to build a strong network and communicate mathematically at the national, regional, and continental levels.
