Throughout our lives, we’ve had the joy of caring for many rescue pets. Our very first companions included turtles, parakeets, and fish, followed by a variety of dogs and cats. Six years ago, we adopted Balto, a rescue dog from 11th Hour Rescue. When he first joined our family, he was underweight, anxious, and untrained. With time, patience, and love, Balto transformed into a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted dog. His journey is just one example of the dedication and compassion we bring to every animal in our care.
Other beloved pets—like Princess, our loyal dog, and Nugget, our adorable hamster—each have their own rescue stories that highlight our deep commitment to animals of all kinds.
As licensed child care providers, we undergo extensive background checks for our profession. In addition, we’ve been vetted through platforms like Rover, adding another layer of trust and security for the families and pets we serve.
Although pet sitting is a side hustle, we are fully committed to offering high-quality, affordable care—always delivered with heart, patience, and professionalism.

About Idaly
Education
Idaly is currently a pre-vet student at Rutgers University where she studies animal nutrition, animal behavior and other related science courses. Idaly has an Associate's in Biology, working on her Bachelor's in Biology.
Community Service
Idaly has volunteered for 5 years at 11th Hour Rescue handling all types of dogs. At the Rockaway Mall Cattery she has volunteered to socialize and care for cats. At the dog shelter she has volunteered with cleaning up , feeding and playing with dogs.
Experience
Idaly has been taking care of her friends pets and has decided to make a business out of it and spread the love!
Study Abroad at Belize with Rutgers Going Global. Attended May 2025 for preveterinary training on farm animals, wildlife and pet clinic. Assisted with animal handling, surgeries/procedure, vaccinations and feeding.

Committed to providing the highest level of care, Jackie is actively learning about animal behavior and ensures her Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR certification remains current—ready to respond confidently in the event of an unforeseen emergency.

About Mauricio
Mauricio is a Surperviser at Roxbury High School. He also has a passion for pets. He especially loves his little chihuaha, Princess. He is the one that brings all the new pets home!
He loves to stroll around the neightborhood with Balto and Princess! He is gentle with all pets, he especially loves his small chihuaha, Princess and takes great care of his backyard chickens.
Due to working with the Roxbury's School Borough, Mauricio is background checked yearly.
