Women Welfare Association is a non-profit organization established in 2004 and it is working for the betterment of the underprivileged segment of society. The mission of this organization is to empower women by promoting self-reliance through different skills enhancement and job placement. We work on a self-help basis. We raise funds from different sources including membership fees, donations, grants from national and international donors/organizations, income from services, etc. we also accept charity. At the moment we are conducting short terms courses for women in the area. Course conducted is in cutting sewing, knitting, hand embroidery, machine embroidery beauty parlor course, computer training, fabric painting, cooking, and baking. We have established a tuition center and free education and free education is provided t needy students. Also, classes for religious education for poor and needy children are also organized. Future plans of the organization are to establish a medical center, the establishment of a commercial training center for the Dress Making Center t provide training as well as employment to deserving women and students. A welfare academy will be established for the boys and girls of the area, which will later become a regular educational institution.Â
