Presentation: 25%
Each student will be asked to present an aspect of the day’s assigned reading. Depending on the size of the class, this may be done in groups.
Weekly Reading Responses: 25%
Each week students will respond to an assigned question and any additional assigned readings. These must be submitted digitally on the dates indicated on the syllabus. No credit will be given for late submissions.
Participation: 25%
This includes participation in drafting the class expectations document, a mid-semester self-assessment of students’ ability to comply with those expectations. In addition, students are expected to read, review and annotate the readings assigned and be prepared to discuss the issues they raise. Students must bring their annotated copies of the reading to class each day.
