This website is a work in progress created by the students in my Women in Philosophy class at LSU New Orleans. Women have been doing philosophy since antiquity, yet many of them are still missing from the standard histories and syllabi. In this project, each student researches a woman philosopher and writes an introductory profile of her life, ideas, and main works. Together, we are building an accessible resource, organized by period, from Ancient Greece to the twenty-first century. The site will keep growing as new students join the project.
