#WomenEd grew from a hashtag to a global movement. It is a grassroots initiative that seeks to empower women in education to progress on their leadership journey.

#WomenEd is "about people, relationships, storytelling and their impact. We are a community of change makers who have agency, a shared vision and a collective voice."*

Driven by shared values, #WomenEd has identified eight common threads that are at the forefront of conversations. These are Clarity, Communication, Connection, Community, Confidence, Challenge, Collaboration and Change - the 8 Cs.

Join us to learn more about #WomenEd as we begin with a focus on Clarity - what are the gender imbalances in education? We will end our first meet up with a spotlight on Community - a call to arms for how we can grow in diverse and inclusive ways!

Our inaugural event will include inspirational women who will share their leadership story and who will contribute to panels about Clarity and Community.

Following discussion panels we will have opportunities to discuss, disagree, debate and engage in discourse that will foster our community of #WomenEdDE learners.

You will also have a choice to dive more deeply into an area of interest during a breakout session or conversation corner.
