CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) is committed to promoting gender equality and creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students and staff. 1. Safety and Security

• Deployment of well-trained security personnel across the campus

• Security checkpoints at all entry and exit points

• Rotational duty by faculty members to ensure discipline and safety

• Proctorial Committee with both male and female members at institute and departmental levels

• Strict enforcement of Anti-Ragging and Anti-Smoking

• Awareness programs and workshops on women’s safety and gender sensitivity

• Separate hostels for men and women with dedicated wardens

2. Counseling

• Availability of formal and informal counseling for students and staff

• Class Committees and Proctorial Committees for mentoring and support

• Grievance Redressal Committees for students and staff
