About the Author
Caribbean by nature, I was born and raised in Dominican Republic. I arrived in West Palm Beach in 2006 where I stayed until I graduated from John I. Leonard high school in 2013 and migrated to the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. to pursue an odd mixture of Biology and Digital Media studies. My experience at UCF was unconventional to say the least, as I focused on learning as much as I could about the subjects that captivated me instead of following a set guideline of courses as had been suggested. I received my B.A. degree from UCF on May of 2018, and I still find myself learning new things every day and incorporating them in my life and work as needed.
Today, you can find me engaging in research & development across various fields of knowledge, compartmentalizing music while cuddling my pets, or you may not find me at all because I'll probably be hiking off-the-grid somewhere. I am passionate about philosophy, wildlife conservation, responsible resource management, and the myriad of topics that affect the current state of the world and the impact that individuals have upon it.
Precious Plastic Project
I'm currently planning a plastics recycling workshop in the Orlando community based on Precious Plastic's plans. If you'd like to be part of the process, contact me and I'll let you know the specifics.
I also want to find a sustainable solution for cooling processes as a way of harvesting water from vapor in the air. If you have engineering skills and you want to partner up or just offer 5 minutes of your time, I'd love to run some of these things by you.
Both of these subjects are intended to be used by developing countries that may not have the same resources available.
