2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Display Name / Nickname — the name you choose when setting up your player profile.
Email Address — optionally linked to your profile for account recovery.
Player-generated content — messages you send in the Town Chat during gameplay.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Player ID — a randomly generated unique identifier assigned to your account (e.g. `P12345678`). This does not contain any personally identifiable information.
Game session data — room codes, roles, votes, game outcomes, and game duration, stored to power game history and statistics.
Device information — device type and OS version, collected by third-party SDKs (Google AdMob, Firebase) for advertising and analytics purposes.
Gameplay statistics — wins, losses, voting accuracy, and experience points stored locally on your device and in our Firebase Realtime Database.

The App integrates the following third-party services, each of which may collect data under their own privacy policies:

3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
To operate the game — matching players in rooms, assigning roles, tracking votes and game phases in real time.
To display your profile — showing your rank, level, win/loss record, and battle pass progress.
To enable social features — recording recent players you have played with and processing friend requests via Player ID.
To send notifications — Firebase Cloud Messaging is used to notify you of game events, friend requests, and achievements.
To display advertisements — Google AdMob serves ads to support the free availability of the App.
To improve the App — aggregated, anonymised gameplay statistics help us identify and fix bugs and improve game balance.
To detect abuse — reCAPTCHA Enterprise is used to protect login and room creation from automated bots.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
We may share your data only in the following circumstances:
With other players — your chosen display name, emoji, and game actions (votes, chat messages) are visible to other players in the same room during a game session.
With Firebase (Google LLC) — game data is stored in Firebase Realtime Database hosted by Google in accordance with Google's data processing terms.
With Google AdMob — device identifiers may be shared with AdMob for the purpose of displaying relevant advertisements.
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users, we may disclose information to appropriate authorities.
5. Data Retention
Game session data is stored in Firebase Realtime Database for the duration of the active game. Completed room data may be retained for up to 90 days for debugging and support purposes, then deleted.
Player statistics and achievements are stored locally on your device using Android Shared Preferences. Uninstalling the App removes this data.
Email address — if you choose to link an email to your profile, it is stored in Firebase and can be removed by contacting us.
6. User Rights and Controls
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Delete your account data by contacting us at the email address below.
Opt out of personalised advertising via your device settings under Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
Remove your email from the app at any time via Settings → Account → Change Email.

7. Children's Privacy
Wolf Village is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:

Firebase Realtime Database access is restricted by security rules to authenticated sessions only.
Player IDs are randomly generated and contain no personally identifiable information.
Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Push Notifications
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications for game events, friend activity, and achievements. You can disable push notifications at any time from your device's Settings → Notifications → Wolf Village.
10. Advertising
The App displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend checking this page periodically.
